Our Mission

We finance, support and realize various projects to improve the life and fate of stray animals, and to reduce the number of stray animals. We start by helping Russian (street) dogs and cats, but we want to save more dogs / cats from their dire situation in the near future, by offering them a golden basket. Many stray dogs/cats live on the street in Russia. Due to insufficient education, awareness and the current mentality of the inhabitants, many (discarded) dogs and cats end up on the street and are often dumped in, for example, waste containers. And don’t forget the dogs / cats that are born on the street. All of these animals produce offspring, compounding the problem. The dire situation of stray animals is urgent and acute. Given the mentality and financial situation of the Russian population, help from abroad is needed.

Adoption

Offering a pet a good future through adoption in the Netherlands. Cosmopolitan Pets offers (stray) dogs / cats from reliable Russian partners for adoption. We mediate the match between dog / cat and potential adopter and provide thorough aftercare after the adoption.

Sterilisation & Castration

Finance sterilisation projects in Russia

Sterilisation & Castration

Reducing the number of stray dogs / cats through neutering / neutering. We do this by offering financial support for on-site medical costs and projects.

Education

Educate locals in Russia & Adoptive families

Education

Contributing to awareness on the spot through education. We support and assist our Russian partners with local projects aimed at animal-friendly handling of (stray) dogs / cats and the importance of neutering / sterilisation.

You can help!

Help us achieve our goals. All these Russian poor souls are still looking for a home. Many dogs are in a shelter in their home country or with a Russian host family. We need volunteers that can help us with (temporarily) hosting pets, donations , screening adoptive families and we need volunteers that can help us with educating people.
